About Us

Hell To Pay was established in 2010 by Reka, a hungarian woman with a passion for tattoos and piercings. She had an ethos of accessible tattooing, a friendly and professional space where people would not feel the intimidation that they often feel in a tattoo studio. After 8 wonderful years building Hell To Pay into a widely respected tattoo studio she decided to start a new venture in the South of France, handing the reigns over to the then shop manager, Nova.

Nova took the studio over in 2018 and has taken it upon themselves to continue the legacy of Hell To Pay and continue making improvements to keep us ahead of the game in many regards. Focusing on bringing in different jewellery suppliers to create a more varied choice for clients, and supporting smaller brands with amazing quality such as People’s Jewellery (a small, native-owned jewellery supplier based in California) & Junipurr Jewellery (accessible gold for all). Nova wants to continue making sure all of our artists and piercers are friendly, professional, but most of all… INCLUSIVE!
